How do I find live music near me?+
Open LiveLocalVibes and allow location access, or pick your region. The map shows confirmed live shows near you for tonight or any date you choose, and you can refine by genre, venue atmosphere, and energy to find the perfect show.
What is the Vibe Engine?+
It's live crowd energy, not a star rating. Fans who are actually at a show tap how it feels right then — the energy shows up on the map in real time and fades after the night ends, so a show can't coast on an old review or a paid placement. Try a sample rating in the section above to see how it works.
What's GigBoard?+
GigBoard is where venues post open slots and bands audition directly — no cold emails. It's built into the band and venue dashboards, so it's visible once you've created a free account.
What does "Featured" mean on Explore Bands?+
A few bands appear at the top of Explore Bands with a Featured badge — a paid placement a band can purchase for extra visibility. It never affects a band's real vibe ratings or reviews, which come only from real fans at real shows.
Can I find a bandmate, or a band to join?+
Yes. Find a Member lets bands post or browse "looking for a musician" / "looking to join a band" listings from their dashboard, and you can respond without giving out your contact info until you choose to.
What's included in a free band or venue profile?+
A full page with your bio, genres, photos, socials, and upcoming shows — not just a line in a list. Audio clip uploads and a custom band URL are on the way; see what's live now and what's coming next further up this page.
Is LiveLocalVibes free for bands and venues?+
Yes. Bands and venues create a free account to list their profile, post gigs, and get discovered by local fans. There are no listing fees.
Do I need an account to use it?+
No. You can browse the map and submit a live vibe at a show without an account. Creating a free account lets you follow bands and get notified when they play near you.
How do bands and venues get discovered?+
Bands and venues appear on the live discovery map and in search when they list a free profile and post gigs. Real crowd energy from fans at their shows helps them stand out to nearby music lovers.
Is LiveLocalVibes available as an app?+
LiveLocalVibes works great as a mobile website right from your phone's browser today — no install needed. A packaged app is in the works.
